How and where the Omicron spreads.

1.The Omicron variant spreads very easily
What our experts are seeing through our own data is that the Omicron variant is a real concern.

In less than three weeks, Omicron was the leading cause of new COVID-19 cases among Houston Methodist patients, by comparison, with the Delta variant - which caused a stir this summer - to account for more than 80% of the total cases first diagnosed in Houston.  It started

Preliminary research has shown that the Omicran variant causes less serious illness, but research is needed to confirm it.
 2. Available monoclonal antibodies are much less effective against Omicron variants.
Unfortunately, even now it is clear that the two commonly available monoclonal antibodies are far less effective against the Omicron variant.

These two therapies played an important role in the early treatment of COVID-19 in those who were not vaccinated or vaccinated but were at higher risk.

Sotrovimab seems to be the only monoclonal antibody treatment available.
 3. Now is the time to get your COVID-19 booster
In the case of COVID-19, there is a dramatic increase, and if you are eligible, you will get your COVID-19 booster if you have already taken two doses.

We already know that bulldozers, along with the Delta variant, help protect people from serious illnesses, and data is leaking that suggests that this protection may also extend to the Omron screen variant.

In fact, Pfizer announced the results of a laboratory study that three doses of its COVID-19 vaccine provide better protection from the Omicrine variant, and Modernna has released preliminary data showing the same results for its third dose.  And new reports suggest that Johnson and Johnson's booster doses are also promising against Omicron.
 4. Our best defense against COVID-19 remains the same
The best way to protect yourself from COVID-19 - including the Omicron variant - is to be aware of your environment and the community in your area, and to be aware of COVID-19:

 Vaccination and
Once eligible and get your COVID-19 booster
 Wearing a mask and
Social distance in public places indoors and
Stay away from crowded indoors and
Avoid washing your hands and touching your face

These are not 'or' statements, especially on holidays

Even if you do vaccinate and increase, you should wear a mask in public or in a safe place and stay away from crowds now.
 5. Unused people are most at risk - no matter what
The new issue, whether or not it's new, is that many people have not been vaccinated yet.

In fact, Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo reported that Houston's first Omricon-related death was a vaccine in her 50s.

We know vaccines are safe, effective and our best defense against germs.  Even if you have COVID-19, vaccinate  The immunity offered by the vaccine is stronger and lasts longer than the natural defense.

In addition, data show that non-vaccinated adults are more likely to be re-infected with COVID-19 than those vaccinated after recovering from the disease.

If you have doubts about the COVID-19 vaccine or mistakenly assume that you cannot get COVID-19 twice, make sure you have read the reliable information about the vaccine and if you have any unanswered questions contact the doctor.
